Her British Stepbrother, book 3

It's time for Kat to face the truth. She can't resist sexy playboy Tristan--he's too deliciously seductive, and much too good at making her melt, body and soul. With photographic proof plastered all over London, the whole world now knows she's fallen for this British bad boy.

There's just one problem. Their parents got married and now Tristan is her stepbrother. They shouldn't be together, but Tristan always gets what he wants, and he wants her more than anything. I'm not the biggest fan of serials, nor of the whole 'step-brother' movement, but this trilogy of books gripped me from the beginning. One of my notes (not that I wrote a review though...) from FORBIDDEN was that I liked that the story didn't start out as step-siblings; the whole step-sibling-ship didn't even really happen until right between books one and two. Book two was very much the 'forbidden and hide it' part, and then there was book three...

What I appreciated most about this particular installation was that it gives just enough backstory at the beginning to either remind you of what you read, or simply give you enough story so that you don't really need to read books one and two. This one right here is the true climax of the story -- and therefore, is appropriately named. Here, everything finally comes to a head. The relationship gets noticed, the two of them have to battle desires in public -- more public than they anticipate, even.

This was another enjoyable read for this series, and wrapped it all up nicely. I suggest if you haven't read the series, to go and read the three books -- it's well written and would be well worth the journey when all three books are in your hands.
