Murder. Lies. Betrayal.

I deal with those things every day. My name is Jason Avery, one of the best undercover agents in the country. I have yet to fail on a mission, which is why I’ve been sent to Vegas. Countless women have been abducted, tortured, only to show up dead in the middle of the night. It’s my job to find out which sick fuck is responsible. Unfortunately, every lead sends me to a dead end; at least, until Aylee McFadden shows up at my door.

Aylee is a stubborn, headstrong FBI agent and also one of the sexiest women I’ve ever seen with a gun. In joining me, it gives us the leverage we need to get on the inside. She fights me at every turn, but soon realizes there’s more to me than tattoos and a dirty mouth. I can’t get enough of her. Now that we’re in the game, we’re one step closer to solving the crime. However, gambling with money isn’t what the big boys want. They want the one thing I’m not willing to give.
It’s a no limit game, and if I back down I lose everything. I will lose her.

**STANDALONE NOVEL **

“Pick which room you want and I’ll take the other. I made sure they were on opposite ends so you couldn’t hear the screams of pleasure about to ensue. Wouldn’t want you to get jealous.”

“Jackass,” I mumbled under my breath. “Doesn’t matter much to me.”

“And then once you’re settled we’ll have to work out a system.”

“For what?”

“Like hanging a sock on the door knob when you’re horny and looking for a little of this.” He gestured down his body.

“Oh, good grief. That will never happen. Ever.”

I really enjoy reading L.P. Dover books.

Ok, so really the only other books that I've read have been the GLOVES OFF series, to which I learned was a semi-spin off from another series... Any way. I love the way she writes. It's not as complex as some of my other favorite authors; at times, her books read like a young adult book would, but that makes them fast, easy reads for me. Therefore, when I see an L.P. Dover book, I know that it will be good, it will be easy, and it will take me away from present time.

NO LIMIT wasn't any different from her other books. As this one had a romantic suspense nature to it, it actually pulled me in deeper than my beloved GLOVES OFF books.

I really enjoyed this book. Jason and crew do undercover work to solve cases. Jason and his boys can typically solve cases at a quick pace, but this latest one is taking him much longer than normal. Girls are showing up dead, and the last two have been call girls. Jason spends three weeks infiltrating himself into the casino life yet hasn't been able to make his mark.

Not even days after his boss threatens him with FBI involvement because he prefers to work solo and is coming up empty, Jason meets Ariel... a red haired beautiful prostitute. Thinking she could be his in to catch his man, he essentially hires her...

...only to find out she's his FBI liaison. And her name is Aylee, not Ariel (even though he caught the Little Mermaid reference).

I loved that Jason was self-assured (cocky? arrogant?) enough to say that he was still the one winning on this assignment because he hired her when she was 'just a prositute'. Aylee, though, says she's winning because the Bureau is getting their way and she's on the case. She was assigned; he didn't ask her first.

These two were a constant power struggle -- and it was so enjoyable to watch. They were also full of innuendos -- and that was fun, especially because neither took the other seriously. Both were equally headstrong individuals, as well as confident in their abilities. Neither really wanted to work with the other, but eventually they start to jive and, like any romance novel, the protective instincts and desires come to play.

NO LIMIT was a fun read, for sure, and I cannot wait to see what the other ARMED AND DANGEROUS stories will bring us!
