review || BAD BOYS AFTER DARK : MICK by Melissa Foster

World Literary Press | June 22, 2016 | Contemporary Romance
Bad Boys, book 1

The Bad Boys are a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

Indulge your inner vixen...
You asked for naughtier lovers, with the same fierce loyalty as The Bradens - Meet the Bad Boys... Four sinfully sexy, uber alpha brothers, about to fall head over heels for their leading ladies.

Everything's naughtier after dark...
Amanda Jenner is done being a boring-man magnet and has finally taken control of her love life. As any smart paralegal would, she's researched the hell out of how to seduce a man. She's waxed, primped, and ready to put her newfound skills into action--and a masquerade bar crawl is the perfect venue for her solo coming-out party.

Entertainment attorney Mick Bad lives by two hard and fast rules. He never mixes business with pleasure, and he doesn't do relationships, which makes the anonymity of a masquerade bar crawl the perfect place for a onetime hookup.
Amanda thinks she's hit the jackpot when she bags a tall, dark, and sinfully delicious masked man--until she discovers the man she's made out with is her off-limits boss. Mick's already crossed a line he can never uncross, and one taste of sweet and sexy Amanda has only whet his appetite. When Mick offers to give Amanda a lesson in seduction--no strings, no regrets, and for goodness' sake, come Monday, no quitting--the tables turn, and Mick's totally unprepared for the lessons this sweet temptress provides.

If you like Melissa Foster and you love a little extra sexy in your books (more than the sweet she never fails to give us) -- these new After Dark series are for you! Mick and Amanda were so incredibly fun to read; this was a quick timeline story, but the feelings both Mick and Amanda have for one another actually span for months & years prior to the book's open.

Amanda watched as her sister found love (in Wild Boys After Dark: Heath), and now she wants to try. Not necessarily love, but good, dirty, releasing sex -- something she hasn't had (releasing sex; this isn't a story about a virgin). She thinks her boss is good looking, but would never go there -- besides, he's made it clear to the office he won't mix business and pleasure.

Amanda is the one woman Mick wants but cannot have. After all, he refuses to mix business and pleasure. That, and he's seen love fall apart and never mend. He's not up for that particular challenge. At a masquerade party, Mick saves a woman from a too-handsy guy and as she talks to him...

...he realized his Amanda may not be as sweet and reserved as he thought she was. And if anyone's going to teach her things, it's going to be him.

I truly enjoyed these two and while I had every intention on reading those Wild boys, I will definitely be keeping up with those Bad boys.
